Problem
You are trying to SSH into ESXI host after starting the SSH service but are getting an error “Access Denied”.
Solution
Verify that you have enabled SSH (Configure > System > Security Profile)
Check Lockdown Mode. If enabled, click on edit, then select Disable and select OK to save
Restart SSH service
Test access using SSH
